Responsibilities: Collaborate with occupational therapists to implement therapy plans tailored to individual student needs Assist students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills essential for classroom participation Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to promote a supportive learning environment Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and review Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Experience working with children, preferably in a school or educational setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and educational professionals Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Familiarity with school-based therapy practices and IEP processes Location: Renton, Washington Elementary School setting This contract role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on children's educational journeys in a supportive school environment.
