Let Volt help move you forward Volt is immediately hiring for a CMM Programmer? for a company located in Ontario, CA. As a CMM Programmer you will: Analyzes dimensional data against part models to determine part conformity. Utilizes customer specifications, drawings, PC-DMIS, and VERISURF software or equipment. Prepares CMM programs for inspection of product, utilizing drawings, parts lists, CAD models, etc. Validates programs for accuracy and completion for legacy parts and new products. Develops LEAN inspection procedures to maximize efficiency. Interprets drawings and specifications to determine conformance to all requirements. May write inspection procedures for work instructions. This is a full time opportunity. 5 days a week. 8+ hours per day. The ideal candidate will have: Excellent knowledge of blueprints, GD&T, datums, tooling parts, etc. Good legible handwriting. Ability to interpret Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing and Blueprint Reading. Program CMM using VERISURF. Ability to complete inspections to verify programs inspect parts within required tolerances Ability to analyze and interpret data Effective problem-solving skills Shift: 8am to 430pm Days: Monday through Friday and occasionally overtime on Saturday Pay Rate: $35-$40 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
