A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or SLP Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) professional is sought to support elementary-aged students in a contract role for the 2025-2026 school year. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate student participation in classroom activities, addressing fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-care skills. Modify tasks or classroom environments to meet individual student needs. Conduct diagnostic and evaluation testing to inform intervention strategies. Prepare clear, comprehensive reports based on assessments and classroom observations. Develop and maintain Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and accommodations. Collaborate with parents, educators, and team members to discuss student progress and areas requiring additional support. Qualifications: Must hold or be qualified to hold an Illinois state license for speech-language pathology. Demonstrated strong communication and teamwork abilities. Flexibility and strong problem-solving skills to address diverse student needs. Position Details: Full-time (37.5 hours per week) with part-time consideration. Orientation dates: August 4 and 5, 2025. Student service start date: August 18, 2025. Contract end date: May 29, 2026.
