This opportunity invites experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to support a therapeutic day school setting serving K-12 students in Mount Prospect, IL. The role is focused on delivering specialized speech and language services to a diverse caseload of approximately 20-30 students with autism, intellectual disabilities, and social-emotional challenges.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and design individualized therapy plans Provide direct therapy services to students exhibiting a range of communication needs, including augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address behavioral and social-emotional goals Manage caseload throughout the school year (August 12, 2025 June 5, 2026) with an extended summer session (June 22 July 17, 2026) Deliver services primarily onsite with potential for teletherapy closer to the school year Qualifications / Desired Experience: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Experience in healthcare, pediatrics, school-based therapy, and teletherapy models Background working with autism and intellectual disabilities preferred Strong behavior management skills highly valued Candidates with Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) experience or SLPA certification considered Location: Mount Prospect, Illinois Benefits and Perks: Competitive hourly rate of $55-$60 for SLP-CCC professionals Guaranteed hours throughout the contract period Access to health, dental, and vision insurance plans This contract position provides a meaningful opportunity to impact student communication and development in a supportive educational environment.
