Soliant isseeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a 2nd grade co-teaching classroom for the 20252026 school year in New York City. Youll be working alongside a highly experienced general education teacher with 10 years of tenure, supporting a class comprised mostly of general education students, with some students requiring IEP accommodations.

Collaborate daily with the general education co-teacher to deliver engaging, inclusive instruction
Support IEP implementation, accommodations, and modifications for students with special needs
Track student progress and contribute to ongoing assessments and data collection
Engage with families, service providers, and the school team to support student growth
Contribute to lesson planning, differentiation, and classroom management
Required Qualifications:
New York State Special Education Teaching Certification (required by start date)
Willing to accept newly licensed teachers with appropriate certification
Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
Passion for early elementary education and inclusive teaching practices
