Key Qualifications: Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist Experience working in K-12 educational environments Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy practices and school-based interventions Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students educational goals Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and other professionals Proficiency in progress documentation and compliance with school and state regulations Responsibilities include: Conducting evaluations and assessments to identify students occupational therapy needs Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans to support fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities within the school environment Collaborating with teachers, school staff, and parents to integrate therapy goals with classroom strategies Monitoring and reporting on student progress through detailed documentation Providing consultation to school personnel regarding adaptive equipment and modifications to optimize student participation Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP development This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student success by enhancing their ability to engage fully in academic and social settings.
