Location: Seattle, WA Duration: 2025-26 School Year (Contract) A full-time Occupational Therapist opportunity is available within a K-12 school setting in Seattle, WA, for the 2025-26 academic year. This position involves supporting students' developmental and functional needs by implementing tailored OT interventions to enhance their learning experiences and overall well-being. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for K-12 students requiring occupational therapy services Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals and progress Provide direct therapy services focusing on fine motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive techniques Document and monitor student performance and progress in compliance with educational and regulatory standards Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise to student support strategies Desired Qualifications: Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Washington Experience working in educational or pediatric settings, preferably K-12 schools Strong knowledge of school-based OT practices and special education regulations Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to manage a full caseload effectively while maintaining accurate records Schedule and Duration: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Initial contract: First semester (September 3, 2025 December 19, 2025) with high potential to extend through the end of the school year This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student development in a dynamic school environment.
