A full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at an elementary school in Auburn, WA. This contract role offers the opportunity to provide hands-on support and therapeutic services to students ranging from Pre-K through 12th grade in an engaging school setting.
Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services directly to students with diverse needs in a full-time, in-person format
Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
Manage a caseload of approximately 50 students, tailoring interventions to improve daily living and academic performance
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and healthcare guidelines
Participate in team meetings to ensure coordinated care and support student success
Qualifications:
Valid COTA certification with experience in healthcare and school settings
Ability to work effectively with children across a broad age range from Pre-K through 12th grade
Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Willingness to work full-time, in person, and adhere to the school year schedule
Commitment to fostering a supportive and therapeutic educational environment
