This position is for a full-time Special Education Teacher specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) with a focus on behavior support for K-12 students. The role is based in Warren, MI, within an elementary school setting and is contracted for the full school year.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the needs of students with ASD. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring Autism and Behavior Specialist support. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address behavioral and educational goals. Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary. Support four elementary-level students with ASD teaching needs. Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment that promotes learning and development. Qualifications/Experience: Certification or licensure in Special Education. Experience working with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Knowledge of behavior intervention strategies and classroom management. Strong communication skills for working effectively with students, families, and staff. Ability to work full-time under a contract for the complete school year. Location: Elementary school based in Warren, Michigan.
