Council Aide II
The Council Aide II position at the City of Tucson provides paraprofessional research, policy support, administrative and financial assistance, and constituent services for the Mayor and/or Council Member, while also serving as a neighborhood department liaison and maintaining the office's social media presence to ensure effective communication and access to City services. Duties and Responsibilities Performs administrative duties such as ordering supplies, scheduling meetings, researching, preparing and processing materials, and maintaining records, reports, and contracts. Performs financial duties including preparing purchase orders, invoices, processing accounts payable, tracking expenditures, assisting with budgets, and preparing payroll. Provides customer service by answering and directing calls, greeting visitors, responding to informational requests, and offering assistance to the public. Interacts with constituents to respond to information requests and city services. Receives constituent complaints, researches information, facilitates problem resolutions, and communicates findings and proposed actions with constituents. Performs all other duties and tasks as assigned.
