Key responsibilities include: Developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) aligned with state standards Monitoring and documenting student progress Managing and overseeing paraprofessionals to assist classroom instruction Collaborating with general education teachers, families, and support staff to meet student needs Maintaining compliance with all special education regulations and school policies Desired qualifications and experience: Valid Special Education teaching certification for K-5 students Experience managing a resource room and supporting paraeducators Strong understanding of special education laws and best practices Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to adapt instruction to diverse learning needs This position is available immediately due to staff transition, with the current teachers last day scheduled for next Thursday.
