Key Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction and support to approximately 15 students with individualized education plans (IEPs) in grades K-5. Manage and oversee paraeducators assigned to support students within the resource room setting. Collaborate with general education teachers and school staff to create inclusive learning environments. Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with district and state special education guidelines. Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs and promote student success. Communicate regularly with families and team members regarding student growth and challenges. Qualifications and Experience: Valid Special Education teaching certification. Experience working with elementary-aged students (K-5) in resource room or inclusive settings. Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor paraprofessionals. Strong organizational and communication skills. Commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment. Location & Duration: Position is based in Adrian, Michigan. Contract runs from ASAP until the end of the school year. Full-time commitment.
