Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized and small group instruction in a resource room setting for K-5 students with special needs. Supervise and collaborate effectively with paraprofessionals to support student learning and behavior. Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in compliance with state regulations. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for each student. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that meets diverse learner needs. Coordinate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure cohesive student support. Qualifications and Experience: Valid Special Education Teaching Certification. Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably K-5. Strong skills in delivering resource room instruction and managing caseload responsibilities. Ability to supervise and collaborate with paraeducators effectively. Knowledge of IEP development and special education laws and best practices. Excellent communication and organizational skills. This position is available immediately with a start date as soon as possible, covering the remainder of the current school year.
