Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students unique requirements Deliver specialized instruction to students with disabilities in compliance with state and federal guidelines Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to maximize student success Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed Participate in team meetings and contribute to creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment Qualifications: Valid Special Education teaching certification Experience working with K-12 students in special education settings Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and behavioral management techniques Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues Commitment to fostering a supportive and adaptive learning atmosphere Location: Oswego, Illinois This contract position covers the current school year, providing an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students academic and personal growth.
