A K-12 school in Ellicott City, MD is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech and language services for students throughout the school year. Qualifications:
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for SLP or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
Experience or certification in school-based speech-language pathology preferred
Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders common in pediatric populations
Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
Excellent communication skills and collaboration with educators, parents, and students
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments for K-12 students
Develop and deliver tailored therapy sessions addressing articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders
Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and families to support each students communication needs
Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and comply with relevant educational and legal standards
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise to support student success
