Key Qualifications: Valid SLP certification with ASHA CCC credentials Experience or certification in school-based speech-language pathology Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders among school-aged children Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans Excellent collaboration and communication skills with educators, families, and students Location: Serving students in Ellicott City, Maryland Position situated in a K-12 school setting, providing services across grade levels Primary Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings for students Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs Monitor and document student progress regularly Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student success Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional expertise Ensure compliance with school policies and state regulations Benefits and Perks: Contract role offering professional growth within a school system Opportunity to engage with a diverse student population across multiple grade levels Supportive educational community focused on student development This position is ideal for an SLP with a strong commitment to empowering students through communication support within a structured school environment.
