This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher specializing in Autistic Support for high school students in grades 9 through 12. The position is an onsite, contract role beginning immediately and continuing through June 2, 2026.

Key Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction and support tailored to students with autism within a high school classroom setting Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to meet students unique learning needs Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student growth and success Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize outcomes Maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment Qualifications: Full Pennsylvania Special Education licensure (Instructional I or II), or the ability to obtain licensure prior to the start date Experience working with autistic students in secondary education settings is preferred Strong knowledge of best practices in special education and autism support Excellent communication and organizational skills Location: York, Pennsylvania (Onsite) This contract position for the 2025-2026 school year offers an hourly pay range of $35.27 to $48.62, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
