A high school special education opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to provide Autistic Support to students in grades 9 through 12. This full-time, onsite contract position runs from ASAP through June 2, 2026.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction and support tailored to the needs of students with autism in a high school setting Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with staff and families Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies to enhance learning outcomes Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student growth and independence Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive student support Qualifications: Full Pennsylvania Special Education Licensure (Instructional I or II) required, or eligibility to obtain certification prior to start date Experience working with students with autism in secondary education settings is preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Commitment to student-centered education and continuous professional development Location: Onsite position in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania Contract Details and Benefits: Contract duration: Current school year through June 2, 2026 Competitive hourly compensation ranging from $35.27 to $48.62 Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, plus a 401(k) plan Weekly pay to support financial flexibility This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on high school students with autism by providing crucial educational support within a structured environment.
