This position offers an opportunity to provide specialized speech-language pathology services within a K-12 school setting in Sacramento, CA. The role involves managing caseloads of students with speech and language disorders throughout the contract school year.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students exhibiting speech and language difficulties Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs Lead therapy sessions focused on improving speech and language skills Accurately monitor and document progress in student communication abilities Work collaboratively with educators, therapists, and other professionals to coordinate care Involve families actively in the therapy process through education and communication Required Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in speech-language pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is highly desirable Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage collaboratively in team settings as well as independently Licensure: Must hold an active state license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in California This contract position offers the chance to enhance professional skills supported by a dedicated advisory team of experienced speech-language pathologists within the state.
