A K-12 educational institution in Des Plaines, IL, is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to support students and families throughout the school year. Key Responsibilities: Provide individual and group counseling to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral issues Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans Conduct assessments and develop strategies to support student needs Connect students and families with community resources and support services Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to monitor student progress and adjust services accordingly Maintain accurate and confidential case records in compliance with school policies and legal requirements Desired Qualifications: Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program Valid license or certification to practice social work in Illinois Experience working with K-12 students in an educational or similar setting Strong understanding of child development, mental health, and crisis intervention techniques Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Location: Des Plaines, IL This opportunity is ideally suited for a compassionate professional committed to making a positive impact on student lives within a dynamic school environment.
