Monitor and document student progress regularly, adjusting interventions as necessary. Provide consultation and training to school staff regarding adaptive strategies and safety. Qualifications and Experience: Certification as an Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS) or equivalent. Experience working with K-12 students who have visual impairments. Knowledge of mobility aids and assistive technology relevant to visually impaired students. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within an educational team. Ability to develop individualized plans and adapt teaching strategies to diverse student needs.
