Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction and support tailored to students who are deaf or hard of hearing across K-12. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Utilize specialized communication methods and assistive technologies to enhance student learning and engagement. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs. Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to provide comprehensive educational services. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that fosters student growth and independence. Qualifications and Experience: Valid teaching credential or certification in Deaf Education or equivalent. Experience working with K-12 students who are deaf or hard of hearing. Strong knowledge of communication strategies, audiology, and assistive technology related to DHH education. Ability to create and implement effective instructional plans. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Patience, adaptability, and dedication to student success. Location: Moreno Valley, CA Duration: Contract for the school year (NSY).
