Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Assess student needs and develop treatment plans to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities
Document student progress and maintain accurate therapy records
Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive learning environment
Qualifications:
Licensed Occupational Therapist with valid credentials to practice school-based OT
Previous experience working in an elementary school setting preferred
Knowledge of pediatric developmental milestones and school therapy regulations
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, families, and educators
Ability to plan and organize caseload efficiently throughout the school year
