This full-semester contract position is based in Boston, MA, within a vibrant middle school setting, focusing on supporting students with diverse learning needs from January 2025 until the end of the school year.

Location: Boston, MA Responsibilities: Provide inclusion support to students with special education needs, ensuring an adaptable and responsive learning environment. Collaborate with colleagues to create individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress toward their goals. Evaluate students for eligibility and re-eligibility for special education services, generating comprehensive reports on assessments. Actively participate in and chair IEP meetings, fostering a collaborative approach to each student's education. Qualifications: Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education License in Moderate Disabilities (5-8). Sheltered English Immersion Endorsement preferred. Previous experience in a middle school setting is highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff.
