A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the upcoming school year, running from August 25, 2025, through June 23, 2026. This contract role is based in Boston, MA, within an elementary school setting and focuses on supporting K-8 students with moderate disabilities.

The selected candidate will work closely with a small group of nine students, providing targeted individual and small-group instruction. The primary responsibilities include delivering specialized support in both English Language Arts (ELA) and Math through pull-out sessions designed to meet each student's unique learning needs. Key Qualifications: Valid K-8 Moderate Special Education teaching license (mandatory) Experience working with K-8 students in inclusive or specialized settings Strong knowledge of ELA and Math curricula and strategies for differentiated instruction Ability to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and maintain accurate progress documentation Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff Responsibilities: Provide individualized and small-group instruction in ELA and Math for special education students Monitor and document student progress to inform instructional adjustments Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to ensure coordinated services Implement accommodations and modifications aligned with IEP goals Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters student growth Location: Boston, MA (Elementary School) This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the educational development of students requiring moderate special education support.
