The Salinas Union High School District is seeking a
full-time, credentialed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
to serve students in grades
712
for the
20252026 school year . This is an
on-site
role at a school within the district, with exact site assignment to be determined. The SLP will be responsible for providing direct therapy services, conducting evaluations, developing IEPs, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student communication needs. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy services to middle and high school students.
Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families.
Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.
Participate in IEP and team meetings.
Document services and student progress consistently.
Qualifications:
Valid
California Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential
SLPA candidates will not be considered
ASHA CCC-SLP preferred
Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
Must clear LiveScan background check prior to start
