A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a high school setting serving students in grades 7 through 12. This full-time position (1.0 FTE, 7 hours/day) requires a valid California credential and offers a caseload of approximately 55 students. The role supports the communication needs of adolescents in an educational environment with varied schedules depending on the assigned school site.

Key Responsibilities: Provide speech and language evaluations, therapy, and consultation to students in grades 7-12 Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state regulations Participate in team meetings and student conferences to review progress and adjust interventions Qualifications: Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist credential (SLPA candidates not accepted) Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred or equivalent experience Experience working with pediatric and school-age populations Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 55 students effectively Strong communication and organizational skills Eligible for or completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Location & Schedule: Position based at a school site within the Salinas Union High School District, Salinas, CA Typical work hours vary by site, examples include 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, or 8:45 AM to 3:45 PM Contract dates run from July 28 to May 29, 2026 (School Year 2025-2026), contingent on interview and LiveScan clearance In-person candidates only This contract position provides the opportunity to impact the lives of secondary school students by delivering essential speech and language services.
