Key Responsibilities: Provide counseling and social work services to students to promote social and emotional development Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans tailored to individual student needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive educational plans Facilitate group sessions on topics such as social skills, coping strategies, and conflict resolution Connect families with community resources and support services Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed Maintain accurate documentation and comply with confidentiality requirements Qualifications and Desired Experience: Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program Valid state licensure or certification as a School Social Worker Experience working with K-12 student populations, preferably in a school setting Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, as well as mental health issues affecting students Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage caseload and prioritize tasks effectively Knowledge of community resources available to support students and families Location: Bourbonnais, Illinois This position provides an opportunity to work in a supportive school environment where social-emotional learning and student wellness are prioritized.
