This position is for a high school Special Education teacher with a focus on Math for grades 9-12. The role is based onsite in Lancaster, PA, and will run through the 2025-26 school year (ASAP through June 2, 2026). The district is seeking a dual-certified Special Education and High School Math educator to create and lead a new position aimed at improving math achievement within the Special Education department.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement math curriculum tailored to Special Education students in grades 9-12. Monitor and assess student progress to drive academic growth in math. Collaborate with educators, administrators, and support staff to meet individual student needs. Manage a caseload of Special Education students requiring math intervention. Maintain compliance with district and state educational standards. Qualifications: Full Pennsylvania Special Education licensure (Instructional I or II) required, or ability to obtain prior to start date. Dual certification in Special Education and High School Math preferred. Experience working with high school students with special needs in a math instructional setting.
