A Speech-Language Pathologist with a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is sought for a K-12 educational setting located in Pittsburg, CA. This contract position offers a commitment for the 2025-2026 school year, with an option for an earlier start based on availability. The role provides flexibility in hours, with a standard workweek of 37.5 hours and consideration for both full-time and part-time caseloads.
Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade. The practitioner will develop individualized treatment plans, collaborate with educators and families, and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with educational standards and regulations. The position will primarily serve one or two school locations, offering a focused and manageable caseload environment.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification (SLP - CCC)
Experience working with a diverse K-12 student population in school settings
Ability to manage a caseload of up to 65 students for full-time positions
Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and educational staff
Familiarity with educational assessment tools and Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes
