A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an elementary school in San Diego, CA, serving students from transitional kindergarten through 5th grade. This role offers a full-time schedule with a consistent daily routine to support young learners with speech and language goals.

End Date: June 12, 2025 Hours: 40 hours per week Daily Schedule: 7:30 AM 2:15 PM Caseload: 46 students, including those with Speech IEPs and Mild/Moderate Special Day Class needs Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized speech therapy services in alignment with student IEPs Conduct assessments to identify student needs and monitor progress Prepare clear, comprehensive reports and documentation Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with school staff Qualifications and Desired Experience: Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) eligible Experience working with school-age children, particularly in elementary settings Comfort working with diverse populations, including bilingual students (bilingual skills are a plus) Willingness to collaborate with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if applicable Additional Details: No teletherapy or hybrid schedule; all services are provided onsite Open to Clinical Fellows and considering SLPA support if needed This role provides the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic school environment while supporting students communication development.
