A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to work full-time at an elementary school in El Cajon, CA. This position serves students in grades TK-5, including those receiving speech services through IEPs and moderate/severe special day classes.

Key Details: Location: El Cajon, CA Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 2:15 PM Contract Dates: August 5, 2024 June 12, 2025 Caseload: Approximately 46 students Population Served: TK-5 students requiring speech therapy and MS SDC students Work Hours: 40 hours per week Essential Responsibilities: Deliver direct speech-language pathology services aligned with student IEP goals Conduct assessments and write reports documenting progress and needs Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams Adapt therapy strategies to meet diverse student needs within an elementary school setting Qualifications and Experience: Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate eligible Experience working with early childhood and elementary populations preferred Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply and will have a strong advantage Open to supporting Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) if needed This position is on-site; teletherapy or hybrid arrangements are not available This role provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced or clinical fellow SLP ready to make a meaningful impact on young students communication skills in a supportive school environment.
