This opportunity is for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide in-person services at an elementary school serving students from PreK through 5th grade. The role involves managing a diverse caseload focused on speech and language impairments, with additional responsibilities supporting students with various identified disabilities. The position offers a collaborative work environment with onsite support to help balance the workload. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct speech-language therapy to approximately 31 students identified with speech or language impairments (SLI), focusing on articulation and language development. Serve as the related service provider for an additional 48 students identified under other disability categories such as autism, specific learning disabilities, orthopedic impairments, hearing impairments, and other health impairments. Manage a total caseload of approximately 79-85 students. Collaborate with another SLP who supports the school one day per week to ensure comprehensive care and service delivery. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development and review. Qualifications: Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC), Certificate of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY), or School SLP certification. Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting preferred. Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders in children. Ability to manage a varied caseload with effective time management and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and other support staff.
