A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized speech services with a focus on articulation for students in a PreK-5 elementary school setting. This contract position is scheduled to begin on August 11, 2025, and conclude on May 15, 2026, offering 32 hours per week across 4-5 days in a school located approximately 30 minutes from Auburn, AL.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver school-based speech-language pathology services targeting articulation to students from PreK through 5th grade Conduct evaluations and assessments, effectively communicating results to parents and school personnel Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions and documentation Collaborate with educators and school staff to support individualized student needs Manage a caseload consistent with district guidelines, adapting approaches to diverse student profiles Qualifications and Experience: Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credentials preferred ALSDE certification for SLP strongly preferred, or appropriate clinical certification with a cleared ALSDE background check Experience working in healthcare, pediatrics, teletherapy, or school settings beneficial New graduates (SLP Clinical Fellows) encouraged to apply; Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) may be considered based on qualifications Strong communication skills to clearly explain evaluation results to families and educators Knowledgeable and confident in handling a variety of speech-related student needs Location: One PreK-5 school near Valley, AL, approximately a 30-minute commute from Auburn, AL This role offers the opportunity to impact young learners' communication abilities in an educational environment.
