This role offers an engaging opportunity to support students in a vibrant elementary school setting, with occasional work involving high school students. Serving a caseload of approximately 28 students, you will provide critical speech and language services that promote academic and social success. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized therapy plans Deliver direct therapy tailored to each students unique needs Collaborate with teachers and school staff to implement accommodations and modifications Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary Participate actively in IEP meetings to help set meaningful student goals Provide guidance and resources to parents and caregivers to support communication development at home Qualifications: Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current state SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school setting Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with educators and families Knowledge of IEP processes and relevant educational laws Benefits and Working Conditions: Competitive hourly compensation Scheduled hours aligned with the academic calendar and guaranteed work hours Opportunity to work in a supportive suburban community with a focus on student growth This contract position is an excellent fit for a dedicated SLP seeking a rewarding school-based setting.
