Position Overview
Full or part-time remote opportunity focusing on pediatric physical therapy within school-based settings. You'll provide essential movement and mobility support to students with diverse physical needs while collaborating with educational teams to maximize student potential and independence.

Service Delivery Focus Comprehensive virtual assessments and treatment planning Individual and group therapy sessions via secure platforms Equipment recommendations and adaptive technology consultation Mobility training and therapeutic exercise programming Consultation services for classroom accommodations Family education and home program development Core Responsibilities Conduct thorough virtual evaluations and screenings Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals Provide direct therapy services through interactive virtual sessions Collaborate with IEP teams for goal development and progress monitoring Document student progress and maintain compliance standards Educate staff and families on therapeutic techniques and strategies Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and consultations Essential Qualifications Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from accredited program Current Michigan physical therapy license in good standing Minimum 2 years of pediatric or school-based experience Strong technology skills for virtual service delivery Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Experience with special education processes preferred Virtual Excellence
