A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to provide specialized therapy services for students in grades 3-5 within a K-12 school setting. This contract position spans the core school year from December through March and offers valuable experience working in an educational environment dedicated to supporting pediatric clients.

Key Qualifications and Skills: Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, especially in school settings Familiarity with teletherapy service delivery models Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered, with mentoring support available Ability to effectively assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders Strong collaboration with educators and multidisciplinary teams to promote student communication success Primary Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans for students in grades 3-5 Implement evidence-based therapy interventions targeting speech and language goals Document progress and communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and school staff Deliver teletherapy sessions with fidelity when needed to ensure access and continuity of care Participate in team meetings and provide consultative guidance to classroom staff Location: New Britain, CT This contract role provides an excellent opportunity for a dedicated SLP interested in working within a school environment during a defined portion of the academic year.
