A professional opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher at an elementary school in Jefferson, GA. This position is on a contract basis for the current school year (CSY), focusing on providing specialized educational support to students with diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique learning requirements.
Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and other staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies accordingly.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to update them on student development and collaborate on goals.
Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations and school policies.
Qualifications:
