Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs Provide direct instruction and behavioral support to students with disabilities Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to enhance student progress Maintain accurate records and document student performance and growth Utilize adaptive technology and teaching strategies to foster inclusive learning environments Qualifications and Experience: Valid Special Education teaching certification for K-12 Experience working with students with varying disabilities and needs Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff Commitment to creating supportive and engaging educational experiences Location:Positions are available in Newark, NJ, as well as nearby areas, accommodating professionals from surrounding communities. This role is a full-time contract for the entire school year, with an immediate start date.
