Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities. Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies to promote academic, social, and emotional growth. Maintain detailed documentation and reports in compliance with state and federal special education regulations. Foster a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement and self-advocacy. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid teaching license with a special education endorsement. Experience working with middle school-aged students in special education settings. Strong knowledge of special education laws, assessment tools, and best practices. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt instruction and behavior management techniques to diverse learner needs. Location: This position is based in Anoka, Minnesota, within a middle school environment serving students during the regular school year.
