Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist at ChenMed
Overview
The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for delivering the full recruiting life-cycle including candidate sourcing, screening and preparing candidates for interviews with hiring managers. The role acts as the face of the company during the recruiting process, ensuring positive candidate experiences from application to onboarding. The incumbent collaborates with hiring managers to identify strategies for sourcing and recruiting, helps establish interviewing criteria, and contributes to shaping good hiring decisions.
Location : In-office role.
Responsibilities
Ensures day-to-day operational effectiveness and quality talent acquisition outcomes within the Corporate office, establishing a culture of shared success.
Partners with the TA team, Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners, and other key stakeholders to implement talent acquisition strategies.
Utilizes metrics to plan and adapt to changes in business needs; provides market data to support business growth and decision making.
Creates applicant pools and talent pipelines by posting job ads through job boards, social media, professional associations and employee referral programs.
Sets high recruitment standards, maintains operational excellence and compliance; analyzes recruitment metrics and supports business hiring groups through a wing-to-wing recruitment process.
Evaluates applications, reviews resumes, conducts phone and live interviews to establish a narrow candidate pool.
Handles specialized recruitment programs to address ongoing needs and spikes in hiring volume to drive slate/pipeline development.
Engages passive candidates and crafts sourcing strategies; researches new sourcing ideas and methods to build creative sourcing strategies.
Partners across businesses and TA teams to understand recruitment needs and fill open positions in a timely manner.
Develops long-term talent pipelining plans and talent communities with HR and internal clients.
Coaches managers/interview teams to incorporate capability/competency-based assessments; mentors TA Specialists.
Leads initiatives around diversity and inclusion to attract a diverse and inclusive workforce and culture at ChenMed.
Delivers outstanding customer and candidate experiences as part of the onsite interview process.
Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Highly-developed business acumen and acuity
Experience in a complex Talent Acquisition organization; healthcare industry experience strongly preferred
Excellent detail orientation and time management skills
Expert-level offer negotiation skills
Subject Matter Expertise in recruiting across corporate functions
Proficiency with recruitment tools and technologies (ATS, CRM) through end-to-end recruiting lifecycle
Strategic problem-solving with emphasis on candidate experience
Metrics-driven thinking with direct business impact
Ability to socialize and deliver TA strategies and models
Ability to analyze business challenges and provide recruiting solutions
Strong collaboration, trust-building, and stakeholder relationships
Continual development of domain knowledge, functional expertise and market intelligence
Ability to coach and mentor throughout the recruitment process
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other standard tools
Willingness to travel locally, regionally and nationwide up to 10% of the time
Spoken and written fluency in English
Independent judgment in role responsibilities
Education And Experience Criteria
BA/BS in Human Resources or a closely related field, or equivalent experience (year-for-year basis)
Minimum of 10 years recruiting experience, with at least 7 years in full-cycle recruiting
PHR, SPHR or similar certification preferred
