Key Qualifications and Experience: Valid Mild/Moderate Education Specialist credential Experience working with middle school students in special education settings Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and best instructional practices Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, specialists, and families Commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom environment Location: Middle school in Elk Grove, CA Primary Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with mild to moderate disabilities Develop, implement, and monitor individual education plans (IEPs) Track and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed to support growth Participate in team meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff and families Maintain a positive, supportive, and productive classroom atmosphere Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM Full school year (2025-2026) This role offers the chance to contribute your expertise in special education and help students achieve their academic and social goals.
