Role Description

You'll utilize advanced virtual teaching tools to deliver personalized instruction that meets each student's individual needs. Core Teaching Duties Design and execute specialized lesson plans for diverse learners Manage comprehensive IEP processes from development to implementation Provide behavioral support and intervention strategies Conduct virtual assessments and progress monitoring Facilitate team meetings with parents, administrators, and support staff Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations Student Services
Our program serves students with a wide range of disabilities including developmental delays, emotional disturbances, and physical impairments. You'll work with learners from kindergarten through high school graduation, providing both academic and transitional support. Professional Requirements Master's degree in Special Education or related field Current Michigan special education teaching certification Minimum 2 years of classroom special education experience Proficiency with educational technology and virtual platforms Strong organizational and time management skills Commitment to inclusive education practices Technology & Support
