You'll work with students who have diverse learning challenges while maintaining the personal connection that's essential to special education success. Instructional Responsibilities Implement evidence-based teaching strategies in virtual environments Develop adaptive curricula for students with varying ability levels Create and monitor individualized education programs Provide direct instruction in academic and life skills areas Coordinate with related service providers and support teams Document student progress and maintain compliance records Student Demographics
Our program supports learners with autism, cognitive impairments, specific learning disabilities, and multiple disabilities. Students range from elementary through transition-age, requiring both academic instruction and functional life skills training. Certification Requirements Master's degree in Special Education Valid Kentucky special education teaching license Minimum 2 years of direct special education teaching experience Virtual instruction experience highly valued Strong computer skills and technology proficiency Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Virtual Learning Environment
