A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 20252026 school year, serving elementary students in grades Pre-K through 5. This onsite role is based in Luray, VA, within a K-12 public school setting, supporting a caseload of approximately 44 students.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language evaluations following Virginias special education regulations, including RED and eligibility determinations
Develop and write Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) using the Virginia IEP system
Collect, analyze, and interpret speech and language data to monitor student progress
Complete regular progress reports and manage Medicaid billing documentation
Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to implement effective treatment plans tailored to each students needs
Qualifications:
Current Virginia Speech-Language Pathology license
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
Experience in school-based practice with knowledge of special education regulations for children with disabilities in Virginia
Skilled in evaluation, data collection, and IEP development
Ability to work onsite full-time for the entire academic year
