A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 20252026 school year in the suburban Saint Louis area, serving grades K-12 with a primary focus on high school students. This contract role offers the opportunity to work closely with a diverse caseload of approximately 28 students, including both high school and nearby elementary students.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized therapy plans Deliver direct therapy tailored to meet the unique needs of each student Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement appropriate accommodations and modifications Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed Participate actively in IEP meetings to set and review student goals Provide support and resources to parents and caregivers to promote student success Qualifications: Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state SLP license or eligibility for licensure Experience working with school-aged children is preferred Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team Familiarity with IEP processes and educational laws Location: Riverview, MO (North St. Louis suburb) Position Details: Start Date: August 2025 End Date: June 2026 Contract position aligned with the academic calendar Schedule options available during regular school hours, with school holidays off Benefits: Competitive hourly pay Scheduled work hours aligned with the school year and vacations Guaranteed hours providing consistent workload This role is well-suited for SLPs who are passionate about supporting student communication skills within an educational environment while collaborating with school professionals and families.
