A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available to provide maternity leave coverage from August 25 to October 3 within an elementary school setting serving grades K-4. This contract role involves supporting young students by addressing speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders to promote their success in the general education curriculum and achievement of Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech-language screenings and comprehensive evaluations following IDEA and Pennsylvania Chapter 14 guidelines. Develop and implement IEPs with measurable goals tailored to each students communication needs. Deliver direct therapy services in individual and group formats, both in classroom and pull-out settings. Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and service providers to integrate communication supports. Participate in IEP, multidisciplinary, and eligibility meetings to support student progress. Maintain accurate documentation including therapy records, progress notes, and Medicaid billing when applicable. Provide consultation and training to staff on communication strategies. Assist with AAC evaluations and device support as needed. Adhere to ASHA and Pennsylvania Department of Education ethical and professional standards. Engage in child find and RTI/MTSS processes within the school environment. Qualifications: Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Valid Pennsylvania Department of Education Certification in Speech and Language Impaired PK-12. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows considered with supervision. Knowledge of IDEA regulations, IEP development, and data-driven progress monitoring. Strong organizational and team collaboration skills. Required clearances: Pennsylvania Criminal History, Child Abuse, and FBI Fingerprinting.
