A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a K-12 school located in Porterville, CA, for the upcoming school year contract from August 13 to June 4. This full-time position operates on a typical school schedule from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, serving a current caseload of approximately 65 students. Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language assessments, diagnostics, and evaluations for students K-12 Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs Deliver direct and indirect speech therapy services to improve communication skills Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student performance Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development Required Qualifications: Current certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLP-School) Experience working with a diverse K-12 student population Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based interventions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 65 students efficiently Familiarity with school-based therapy procedures and special education requirements Location: Porterville, California.
