An educational opportunity is available for a Part-Time Physical Therapist specializing in adaptive physical education within a K-12 school setting. Key Responsibilities: Assess and implement adaptive physical education programs tailored to meet the diverse needs of K-12 students. Work closely with school staff, including Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) and healthcare professionals, to develop and modify individualized treatment plans. Provide therapeutic interventions aimed at improving mobility, strength, and overall physical function. Monitor student progress and adjust programs accordingly to maximize effectiveness. Educate and support teachers, parents, and students on adaptive physical activity strategies. Desired Qualifications and Experience: Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) with experience in both school and healthcare settings. Background in Adaptive Physical Education and familiarity with K-12 student populations. Ability to collaborate effectively with teams consisting of PTAs and educational staff. Strong communication and organizational skills tailored to educational environments. Commitment to fostering positive physical development and inclusion of students with diverse needs.
