A full-time opportunity is available for a skilled Teacher specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, serving grades K-12 within a Texas school setting. This contract position requires a dedicated educator to support students throughout the 2025-2026 school year, starting promptly on May 29, 2026.

Responsibilities include: Delivering specialized instruction tailored to the unique communication and learning needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students across all grade levels. Collaborating with general education teachers and support staff to modify curriculum and implement appropriate accommodations. Utilizing a variety of teaching methods, including sign language and assistive technologies, to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing ongoing feedback and adjustments to instructional strategies. Maintaining compliance with state regulations and best practices related to Deaf and Hard of Hearing education. Qualifications: Valid Texas Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teaching Certification, demonstrating expertise in specialized instructional approaches. Experience working with K-12 students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing is highly preferred. Strong communication skills, including proficiency in American Sign Language or other relevant modalities, is advantageous. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
